° about me
As a director, I create both fiction and non-fiction projects. In addition, I have a passion for sculpting. And in my past, I also acted. I like using different forms of expression, but in essence, most of my work touches upon the same core theme: a search for new perspectives on life that break my mould and move me. A quest for goosebumps. As a young child, I often felt as if reality around me was not real. It felt too rigid. I remember lying in bed thinking, ‘If I can think of five things at once, surely reality will tear open, and something magical will appear’. I never reached five, so I’m still searching for the ruptures.

° sculpting
I am currently making a series of 21 life-size rusted sculptures. These sculptures will not end up on pedestals but will be installed against facades and on roofs. All the sculptures seem to be trying to climb upwards, in search of light and sight. They are often in difficult and uncomfortable positions: hanging from a gutter, balancing on a ledge, climbing up a façade, stretching to look just over a high roof at the view on the other side, …
This project is about my fear of falling into the grey. It is my yearning for wonder. Dreaming of what lies in the distance. On the other side of that roof or that high wall. It's dreaming of the wondrous horizon, knowing that place might not really exist. The first sculptures will be installed in the coming weeks, all in the Brussels Sainte-Catherine neighbourhood. I'll keep you updated on Instagram and Facebook. |

° directing
Over the years, I have been lucky to direct all sorts of genres and styles. Sometimes I also wrote and/or produced the projects, and sometimes I had the privilege of bringing someone else’s brainchild to life.
I’m proud to say my work has won some international awards and has been selected for some prestigious festivals. Rose d'Or, IDFA, Montréal World Film Festival, Palm Springs International Film Festival and LA Shorts International Film Festival are among those I like bragging about the most.

Older work includes the MTV series Hollywould.be (2006), some commercials and videoclips, and previous short films like 'Victor' (2003) which was distributed by Cego Publishers.
